Yankee Cranberry Chutney Candle Reviews

Official Yankee Candle Scent Description:
A traditional fall favorite, in an inviting, deep read “cranberry” color that warms every decor, this fragrance delivers sweetness, not the expected tartness of the berry. Orange zest, rosemary, raisins, and a touch of golden honey, blended with fresh cranberries, create a concoction as memorable and inviting as those chutneys Grandma lovingly brought to boil in autumns past.

Candle Frenzy Review of the Cranberry Chutney Wax Tart

Thumbs UpThe Cranberry Chutney wax melt from Yankee Candle had a delicious cold sniff. Strong citrus and berry scent, which was not overly sweet. When lit, this wax melt had an incredible throw. I could smell it almost immediately after lighting the tea light underneath the wax melt, and as it melted the throw became stronger. It was very noticeable throughout our large family room, but it never felt too strong or overpowering. I also really appreciated the more savory notes, which kept the scent from being sticky-sweet, as many berry candles can become. I would describe the cranberry smell as “juicy,” and it’s definitely a scent that I will purchase again. The performance was steady and lasted at least the 8 hours advertised by Yankee Candle. I was a happy sniffer.

Featured Amazon.com Customer Review

“Cold scent is sharp cranberry with orange. Burning scent is a fruity cranberry with raisin and orange, reminding me of homemade cranberry relish simmering on the stove. After several hours the raisin becomes more pronounced and the orange is almost nonexistent. Scent starts out very light and after several hours became more prevalent throughout the house, though never overbearing. This has a very slow traveling throw. Wick burned well for over 20 hours. This did not bother my allergies, but it did make my eyes burn.” – Amazon.com Review

Featured Bed, Bath & Beyond Customer Review

“This is a candle scent that I’ve enjoyed in my own home and gifted, as well. It’s a sweeter, lightly spicy scent, without the tartness you’d associate with cranberries. It basically makes your house smell like you have cranberry sauce cooking on your stovetop.” Bed, Bath & Beyond Review
