The clean scent of lemon combined with the soothing scent of lavender makes the Lemon Lavender one of my favorite of all the candle fragrances from Yankee Candle. The smell is strong and pleasant and will only need to burn for a little while before you can smell the candle in the room. The lemon notes in this candle are on the sweet side, more like lemon candy than lemon juice. The lavender notes, which are not as strong as the lemon scents, come across as fresh and floral. Overall, the two mix very nicely to produce both a fresh and sweet scent.

I am very picky with candle scents. I have a small house and most candles are overpowering. This one is delightful. It is January and the snow is falling and the scent is making me think of spring. I would highly recommend this. I was given a small jar, but will go out and get a bigger.

Of all the Yankee candles Lemon Lavender is our favorite by far. It has a fragrant scent that is refreshing, relaxing, peaceful and just strong enough. The lemon and lavender compliment each other to the fullest. I have bought this as gifts and its now their favorite scent to. We do purchase other scents for holidays, but always return to this one.
